Marlene Madison is a Vancouver
based multi-disciplinary artist. Since
studying at the Emily Carr Institute
of Art and Design, her works have
been performed and screened in festivals
and galleries across Canada,
the USA, Mexico, and in Amsterdam and have been
featured in various
media including the CBC TV, Radio France, and ADBUSTER's
magazine. For
the past few years her work highlights consumer attitudes
shaped by the
marketing and merchandising of brand-name products, and
observes the
consequences of advertising's intrusion upon cultural space.
