Artsadmin Digital Media Bursaries for Disabled Artists

With generous support from London Arts, Artsadmin is pleased to offer four bursaries of £4,000 each to disabled artists in Greater London to work with digital media.
These bursaries will enable artists who define themselves as disabled to experiment with new ways of working, practically research or take an idea further, and/or to further a creative process without having to realise a final product.

Artsadmin hope to develop positive relationships and dialogues with applicants and successful recipients.
The bursaries provide time, space and support for artists to work in an open-ended way, and can be used to cover artists' fees, material costs, and use of studio space and equipment.

For this scheme, the term Digital Media is defined by Artsadmin as work that uses a digital process, including photography, video, print, music or sound production, the construction of materials through digital technology, computer generated art, web or internet based work and live web-cast. Artists using any of the above media within a live performance context can also apply.

In addition to the bursaries, the scheme offers a further £1,000 to each recipient to pay for access and facilitation costs such as interpretation, travel and intermediaries.
