Call for Filmmakers,

Distributors and Producers

The 16th TTV Festival Performing Arts on Screen will take place in Riccione from the 30th of May to the 2nd of June 2002. The festival is an international showcase of videos, tv programmes, films and other hybrid performing arts/media forms and a meeting point for artists both from Italy and abroad. The festival is organized by Riccione Teatro.

INTERNATIONAL NON COMPETITIVE SECTION
Entry Deadline: 9th March, 2002

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

GENERAL INFORMATION
There is no limit of running time for videos entering the International non competitive section.

ENTRY PROCEDURE / DEADLINE
The entry form with all the required information, accompanied by a preview copy, should be sent to Riccione Teatro by March 9th. Please use a separate entry form for each film submitted (the form may be copied). Stills or photographs from the video should also be enclosed. PREVIEW COPY
A VHS video copy should be submitted for preview purposes (Standard: PAL). If the original language of the film is not English, an English text should be adjoined.
NOTIFICATION
By the end of April 2002, all film-makers, distributors and producers will be notified in writing as to whether their video has been accepted. A notification will be sent by e-mail.
SCREENING COPY
For screening purposes the following video formats will be accepted: VHS, S-VHS, DVD, Mini DVD and Betacam SP PAL.

DISPATCH
- Dispatch inside Italy: By mail or courier. - Dispatch from abroad: By mail or courier. All deliveries from non-European Union countries must be marked: "no commercial value - for cultural purposes only". With screening copies from non-European Union countries, please include a "pro-forma invoice" with a print value of less than US $ 10. Unfortunately we are unable to accept packages which do not have the full postage required. Please do not send films by air freight!
DISPATCH COSTS
The applicant is responsible for the costs of sending the viewing and screening copies to the festival.
RETURN DISPATCH
All screening copies will be sent back to the applicant as soon as possible after the festival. Please note: VHS viewing copies will not be returned, but stored in Riccione Teatro videolibrary for local, non profit, educational purposes.
FILM-MAKERS & GUESTS
A festival comes alive with its guests! Which makes it all the more unfortunate that the festival's budget is too small to be able to invite all film-makers and assume their hotel costs. Nonetheless, the festival will try to find private accommodations or low-price hotel lodgings, which is quite easy given that Riccione is a big (and not terrible expensive) seaside resort.
