Richard Piegza is multimédia artist. He's polish and lives in Paris. Each thing makes a different sound and turns round like a sphere; each second a new thing turns. One short-lived action. Since 1979, he has been exploring the setting up of this aleatory score into time and space. He funded the short-lived art festival Flying Carpet and the performance festival Interaction in Poland. He's in touch with multimedia activities and polish performance and music festivals.

Whatever the situations and the props he uses, he aims at breaking away from stillness by creating a space of visual, sound and body interactions between objects, objects and people, images and words, and with the internet. Or: how to cast again the Flying Carpet, or the Labyrinth, as so many Perpetuum Mobile, in a perpetual motion, never realy here or there but inbetween, always between, never settled, fixed, still, dead butterfly in the Museum. Interactive intercourse is at the core of his work since the 80's. He is the founder of the Flying Carpet and co-founder of the first French-Polish Interactive Festival in Piotrkow Trybunalski, in the center of Poland.
